Advertisers´ FAQ
What is Ebuzzing?
Ebuzzing is a Global Platform for Social Media Advertisers, bringing Social Publishers and Advertisers together.
It enables Advertisers to invite a community of Social Publishers to publish in support of (“relay”) their campaigns, in return for payment. For more information, go to theAdvertisers page.
What can Ebuzzing do for me?
Ebuzzing enables Advertisers to create word-of-mouth publicity around their products, using expert reviews and comments. Over and above the viral effect which is produced, a campaign using the Ebuzzing platform also enables you to generate relevant traffic and to increase the number of links pointing to your site. To find out about all the advantages of our platform, go to the introduction page on our web site.
What is a Campaign?
A Campaign is an operation which an Advertiser launches that is made available to Social Publishers via Ebuzzing. It has a defined start date, end date, budget and number of articles. An Advertiser’s campaign is explained in a brief, and then relayed by Publishers.
What is a Brief?
The Brief is a short note in which an Advertiser sets out how a Campaign is to work. It describes your business, explains how the Campaign will run, specifies a few items such as graphic elements available, links to be added in articles, the rules of any competition, etc. The clearer the brief is, the more effective it is. The more imaginative and surprising it is, the more it will catch publishers’ attention.
What is an Article?
An Article is the content a Publisher creates to relay a Campaign. The Publisher takes the Campaign Brief as a basis for creating their content: authoring a post, putting out a video, entering a competition and encouraging their readers to do so, adding a survey module... there’s no limit, and all the multimedia potential of a social site is there for you to exploit!
What is the minimum cost of an Article?
When you create a Campaign, you set the price per article and the number of articles to be validated. You also set the audience and quality criteria for the social sites. The more precise your criteria are, the more we would advise that you increase the minimum price for an article, in order to encourage the best qualified Social Publishers to apply.
How can I offer a campaign to Social Publishers?
Just register on the Ebuzzing platform. All you have to do then is follow a simple process to create a campaign, and add some credit to your account. The items you need to provide are:
- The URL of your site
- A category
- The language in which the articles are to be written (since Ebuzzing is a Global Platform).
- A title, a summary and a detailed explanation of your campaign, i.e. a Brief.
What is the Ebuzzing network?
With the Ebuzzing network, you define a campaign brief which is visible to all our Social Publishers. You set the quality criteria. Only those Publishers who meet these criteria can apply to relay your campaign. The price per article you offer is based on the quality criteria. It will be the same for all Social Publishers who qualify to take part in your campaign.
How do I set a price per Article?
When you post a brief for all our Social Publishers to see, we suggest a price per Article according to the popularity and quality criteria that you set. This figure is intended simply as a suggested price.
Are the Social Sites that relay my campaign validated by Ebuzzing?
Yes. Ebuzzing’s editorial team validates all blogs before giving them access to Advertisers’ Campaign Briefs. The criteria considered when validating a social site are the following: the site must have been in existence for more than 3 months; be regularly updated; be written in good English; and of course, must not break any laws.
Are the articles which Social Publishers write validated by Ebuzzing?
Yes. All articles written by Social Publishers are validated by Ebuzzing’s editorial team. If an Article does not accurately fit the Advertiser’s brief, or if the general quality criteria are not met, Ebuzzing sends the Social Publisher a request to moderate the article. The Publisher then has to edit their article before it can be validated.
Can I ask Social Publishers to include a video in their Article?
Yes. When you create an Ebuzzing campaign, you have the option to request Social Publishers to include a video. You have to specify the URL where the Publishers can find this video. It is recommended that you first upload this video to YouTube, Dailymotion or some other video-sharing site so that it’s easy for participating Publishers to include them.
How is an Ebuzzing campaign able to generate traffic relevant to my site?
When you create an Ebuzzing campaign, you have the option to request Publishers to add a link to your site to the article they write. Any visitor to these social sites may then click on the link and visit your site. The traffic generated is thus extremely well-tailored to your site since any web users following the link are doing so after reading an article about you.
What is the « no follow » attribute?
It is Ebuzzing's intention never to mislead search engine algorithms by creating “artificial” popularity. We therefore automatically add the attribute rel=“no follow” to all links embedded in sponsored Ebuzzing articles.
This attribute ensures that Google ignores the links when it crawls a page. We insist on the rel=“no follow” attribute in all articles because our service was not created in order to disseminate chained links, but rather sincere recommendations, and also because this practice ensures peace of mind for those bloggers concerned about their SEO status.
The attribute is added automatically, but we also check that the links created by our Social Publishers include the “no follow” attribute when validating posts. Our Social Publishers can therefore be certain that Ebuzzing articles will not jeopardise their hard-earned search engine positions.
